Abstract
In completing a self-analysis I looked at all the areas that have shaped me into the person I am. I completed self-assessments, talked to family and friends about their thoughts on me, identified how counseling theories apply to my life, and how all of this information will affect me as a professional. I identified my plan for continued development personally and as a professional. I feel that it takes a lot out of a person to do a self-analysis, especially if it is a thorough one. I can see the benefits a person would get from something like this though and I identified this in the section regarding the effects on me from the self-analysis.
