Abstract

Multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) has been identified to better attendance rates, improve academic success, and support students’ overall well-being. Since the disruption caused by COVID-19, many school districts are looking at implementing MTSS to better support and re-engage students during their return to face-to-face learning. There are gaps in the research as to the effectiveness of MTSS after distance learning. The research presented analyzes the implementation of MTSS on student engagement (attendance, academics, and attitude) after students return to school.
