Abstract
Analysis of Amy is an auto-biographical memoir style life reflection of Amy McIntosh from the perspective of Counseling; utilizing Counseling theory to address how 47 years of life influence Amy both personally and professionally. Analysis is not limited to, but includes, six interviews with people who have known Amy for a variety of time in a variety of ways. There is a Strong Interest Inventory Assessment utilized to understand Amy personally, and professionally as well. Finally, this paper concludes with theories and considerations Amy holds near and dear as she transitions into her role of mental health counselor.
