Abstract
The purpose of this project is to provide a resource for parents and educators on anxiety in young children. Anxiety disorders are among the most common mental health disorders experienced by children. Anxiety can be a normal part of development, and most kids experience it at some point during childhood. However, when it becomes extreme, it can interfere with a child's overall happiness and ability to function throughout their school day. This project consists of five different sections including, recognizing anxiety, resources for parents, resources for educators, treatments, and research. Together with the help of appropriate resources and access to treatment, parents and educators can help young children cope with their anxiety.
