Abstract
This study looked at the current 2nd grade math homework and how parents perceive it. The purpose of the study was to see if parents found the current math homework beneficial to their child. A parent questionnaire was sent home to gain understanding of how parents felt about the current math homework. With the use of the parent questionnaire a new optional hands-on math game option was created to support the child’s learning at home in addition to the current math sheet. The result of the study was that parents found the current math homework to be beneficial to their child and a good use of time at home.
