Biography
Jim Svobodny was born in Fargo, ND and graduated from Fargo Central in 1962. He attended NDSU in 1966 and University of Nebraska in 1972. Jim enlisted in the Army in 1967 and some of his training and duties included Military Police Officer Basic at Fort Gordon, Georgia. He was also Executive Officer, 504th MP Company, MP Operations Officer, and Platoon Leader 281st MP Company Vietnam. After release from military duty he worked as a social worker and a University Professor. Decorations: -Bronze Star -Others
