Biography
Orville Ritchie was born in Kidder, SD and graduated from Lidgerwood High School in 1939. He enlisted in the Navy in 1939 and some of his military training and duties included Machine Gun Training and served aboard the USS Yorktown and USS Force. After release from military duty in 1945 Orville worked as an auto-frame and axle mechanic, salesman, bookkeeper and parts manager.
