Edward Gudmundson has worked as a pharmacist from 1945 to 1984. He describes his schooling, experiences, and compares drug stores of the 1940s with those of the 1980s.
Biography
Edward Gudmundson was born in Mountain, ND and graduated from Central High in Fargo, ND in 1935. He graduated from college in 1940. Edward enlisted into the service in 1942 and some of his military training and duties included Hospital Corp School, Great Lakes, Midshipmen School, Notre Dame, U.S. Naval Hospital, Oakland Ca., USS Rixely APH3, minor surgery, pharmacy and dermatology. Eddie was also involved in a few campaigns and battles. After separation from the military Edward retired as a pharmacist.
