Biography

Manny Marget was born in Boston in 1896, and first came to the Red River Valley as a traveling salesman in the 1920s. He worked in broadcasting since the 1930s, primarily as a radio sportscaster, for WDAY in Fargo, N.D., and then with KVOX in Moorhead, M.N. He was the announcer for the Moorhead Spuds from 1932 to 1972.
