Abstract

With education continuously changing, including the shift to standard-based grading, educators need to continue to study the effects homework completion has on academic achievement. In this study, students’ homework completion score for each unit was recorded along with their assessment score. The relationship between the homework completion rate and assessment score was analyzed. The purpose of this research study was to study the effects homework completion has on students’ achievement on summative assessments.
